Children between 4 and 14 years old discover creativity, art, and purpose through color.
Together with the renowned visual artist Guineo Cartagena, we organize a drawing contest where kids design and help paint homes in poor condition. Each session combines English lessons, art, and teamwork, turning learning into joy.
As they paint, they not only color walls but also their own dreams. They learn the value of effort, unity, and belonging.
Step by step, house by house, we’re building a brighter, more colorful Cartagena — one where art opens doors to opportunity, and every child feels that hope has a color.
Goals :
a. Cartagena is a city with a strong tourism vocation. Learning English means more opportunities. Eventually, we aim to create a colorful neighborhood — one house at a time — turning it into a tourist attraction with bilingual residents able to work in their own community. District 13 in MedellÃn is an example of this concept for the world.
b. We unite children around a common purpose. They learn the value of creativity, art, effort, and teamwork, helping them stay away from the path of violence and crime.
c. We beautify the environment and leave a visible daily legacy that will remind them for many years of the unforgettable experience they lived, generating identity and a sense of belonging.
d. We inspire motivation and a desire to continue working for the community.
e. This is one of the seedbed initiatives we use to prepare them for the next phase, with other programs as they grow up, such as The New Heroes, Barbers with Purpose, and others.
